Poziv na solidarnost intelektualne zajednice sa Institutom za filozofiju i društvenu teoriju u Beogradu

POTPIŠI OVDE 

Institut za filozofiju i društvenu teoriju u Beogradu (IFDT) ima dugu istoriju kritičkog mišljenja. Osnovan od strane disidentskih intelektualaca proteranih sa Univerziteta u Beogradu zbog svog učešća u jugoslovenskom pokretu 1968, Institut je devedesetih godina pružao jak otpor politici Slobodana Miloševića. Zoran Đinđić, filozof i prvi Predsednik Vlade Srbije nakon pada Miloševića, je radio u ovom Institutu nekoliko godina.

IFDT sada po svoj prilici treba da bude stavljen na politički povodac. Vlada Srbije je imenovala novi Upravni odbor Instituta koji uključuje nekoliko veoma kontroverznih političkih ličnosti. Na primer, Zorana Avramovića, koji je postavljen za predsednika Odbora, desničarska Srpska radikalna stranka Vojislava Šešelja (koga je Haški Tribunal osudio) je postavljala na čelna mesta u Ministarstvu prosvete. Avramović je već nagovestio šta misli o Institutu kada je zahtevao obustavu finansiranja Regionalnog centra IFDT u Novom Sadu. Sadašnji Vršilac Dužnosti direktora Instituta koristi represivne mere koje ukazuju na to kako će izgledati budućnost Instituta (pretnje obustavom plata, pokušaji ograničavanja slobode delanja Naučnog veća Instituta, izlaganje pritisku mlađih istraživača, obustava međunarodnih projekata, itd.).

Demokratija u Srbiji uopšte, a posebno sfere nauke i obrazovanja, sve su ugroženiji. Malo je preostalih slobodnih medija. Trenutni pokušaj da se ućutka i možda čak i eliminiše jedna autonomna naučna institucija poput IFDT-a dodatno slabi demokratiju u Srbiji. Štaviše, ovi pokušaji se sprovode u što je moguće većoj tišini, jer pažnja javnosti u ovom slučaju ne odgovara ni politički instaliranom Upravnom odboru ni Vladi Srbije. Sloboda mišljenja i sloboda naučnog rada moraju se braniti evropskom solidarnošću kolega i intelektualaca. To je jednom već bio slučaj kada su 1980. Jirgen Habermas, Iring Fečer, Oskar Negt i Albreht Velmer uspešno podržali osnivače Instituta, direktno se obraćajući tadašnjim jugoslovenskim i srpskim vlastima, i tako pomogli u osnivanju Instituta. Ko bi mogao i da pomisli da će 2020. filozofija i društvena teorija u Srbiji ponovo morati da se brane od države?

S obzirom na ovakav razvoj događaja, mi dolepotpisani zahtevamo hitnu zamenu trenutnog sastava Upravnog odbora IFDT odgovarajućim stručnim kadrovima, predstavnicima otvorene i demokratske naučne kulture; zahtevamo da se poštuju želje istraživača i zaposlenih u Institutu pri izboru novog Direktora Instituta. Takođe, ne sme se dozvoliti da Vlada Srbije dekretom nametne novog Direktora IFDT. Institutu mora biti omogućeno da povrati svoju političku i institucionalnu nezavisnost. Ako je Vlada Srbije ozbiljno posvećena demokratizaciji i želi da se pozicionira kao pouzdan kandidat za članstvo u EU, odustaće od ovog pokušaja političke kontrole.
